Ariel Shaw, MBA is an award-winning business savvy woman who is founder of multiple businesses and initiatives. She has an extensive background in government, politics, and business and is responsible for the start of multiple businesses, medical practices, and political victories across Georgia and the Carolinas. Ariel is the founder of Southern Crescent Women In Business Inc., a member based organization that seeks to provide foundational support for women-owned business throughout the Southern Crescent, through education, empowerment and funding. Ariel has also founded the first Women's Business Center on the Southside of Atlanta, The Southern Crescent Women Business Center.
Ariel has received numerous awards, recognitions, and features including but not limited to a
Resolution from the U.S. Congress, Commendation from the Governor of Georgia, a Proclamation
from the Georgia Senate, a Proclamation from the Henry County Board of Commissioners, The City of
Stockbridge Women’s History Month Award, Black Enterprise Feature, Sheen Magazine Feature,
Voyage ATL Feature, and Feature for multiple years in a row in Who's Who Among Influential African
Americans by Real Times Media. Ariel received the distinct honor of being named a 2021 Woman of
Influence by the Atlanta Business League.
Ariel’s passion for assisting women in business and the youth has fueled her and she lives by the
African proverb "...Teach a woman....and you teach a nation." Ariel truly believes in teaching and
empowering women because once empowered, they empower their surrounding communities. Ariel
lives in South Atlanta with her one daughter, Selah.
