Geinene Carson - Originally from Nashville, TN, Geinene’s foundation in visual art was established with a fine arts degree in Painting and Sculpture. She furthered her art studies at Lacoste School for the Arts in France and by living and working in Vienna, Austria for several years. Following, she founded and directed the visual arts department of an international non-profit organization in which she organized, recruited and led multiple groups of international artists on cross cultural art-making excursions. She now serves as a consultant and artist mentor, engaging a variety of audiences through exhibitions, writing, and teaching on a global level.

Geinene’s artwork focuses primarily on neuro-centric subject matter, creating an unusual intersection of art, science and human experience. Her creative advocacy connects with an array of communities in rare disease, neuroscience, and mental health – a body of work originating from her daughter’s diagnosis of a rare genetic disorder.

When not in her home studio located in Tyrone, GA, she is a very present wife, mother of two and supporter of the arts as a bridge between peoples and cultures.
